I just pickup (from Home Depot) and brought home two sets of bi-fold doors that together will fit in a 48″ opening. Great looking doors!! My question is this: where/how do I get a 48″ top rail that will be compatible with the accompanying hardware?

We are in the home stretch to a cabin renovation and have been shopping at Lowe’s Home Center for our doors/casework. Our local store is a retailer or the EightDoors knotty pine bifold doors (arch on top of door)and they would be a great compliment to the other cabin doors. I would like to purchase several of these doors but it looks like the 24”x 80” is out of stock. My RO is 50” x 82” so I would buy 2 doors for every closet and shim the opening. Will these doors eventually be restocked or are they discontinued? Also, maybe there is another supplier in the my region that you could share the contact info. Thanks for the help John

Hello Gerald,
Thanks for choosing EightDoors!
The real dimensions of our slab doors are exactly as advertised on our website and on the online market places where the doors are sold, the exception being our bifold doors, which are slightly smaller than indicated on account of the hardware that has to be fitted in the door frame with them. For more information, feel free to reach out to us at doors@eightdoors.com!
Thanks!

What did is the frosted glass on the door… where the plastic covering is or other side?
Hello, Dee Papaz,
Thanks for choosing EightDoors!
The plastic film that protects the glass is on both sides; after painting the door, you can remove the film entirely by cutting it along the edges of the glass panel with a utility knife and peeling it back to reveal what side is frosted/smooth. Feel free to email us at doors@eightdoors.com if you need assistance or advice. 😊
Kind regards,
EightDoors Team
which side of a glass door is the frosting on? Is the clear glass side non-protected? YOU DON’T DENOTE WHICH SIDE IS FROSTED!

1. I have (4) 32” slab doors flat panel. My doors need to be 30”. Because I’ve had these a while and project has changed, I have to keep these doors. Since no pattern, can I cut these 2” one side and have that be the hinge side? Just looking for solution.
2. Also, contractor just hung bifold louvre look doors and they don’t want to stay shut or hang even. Any suggestions?
Contractors are here now, can you please call me or email soon?
Thank you,
Lorraine
