Only the Z-shaped barn door models include a groove at the bottom. The frosted glass barn door models do not have this feature. We recommend using an exterior floor guide, or you may choose to route a groove in the bottom, as the bottom rail is made of solid wood.

Yes, our barn doors can be installed as either swing doors or pocket doors. However, please ensure that you use hardware that is appropriate for the weight of the door. Our doors feature a solid pine wood core topped with a veneer. The painted and primed doors have an MDF veneer, while the unfinished wood doors showcase a natural wood veneer. This construction ensures durability, strength, and a smooth finish.

Our flat louver bifold doors and slab doors offer adequate ventilation for closets, pantries, kitchens, lavatories, and similar areas. However, the airflow they provide may not be sufficient for HVAC closets or laundry rooms. In a laundry room, the doors should remain open while the equipment is in use to ensure proper airflow. Additionally, you can enhance airflow by using sliding barn door hardware for the doors.

We recommend using three hinges for our slab doors, which feature a solid wood core. For doors up to 32 inches wide, 3-1/2-inch hinges are recommended. For 36-inch wide doors, we suggest using 4-inch hinges. Additionally, for our 1-3/4-inch thick doors, we advise using 4-1/2-inch hinges.

Yes, we recommend our frosted glass doors for use as bathroom doors. The frosted glass offers complete privacy while allowing natural light to filter into the bathroom.

Our glass doors feature 0.16-inch (4 millimeters) thick tempered glass. This type of glass enhances safety, as it is four to six times stronger than standard glass. In the event of shattering, it does not break into sharp shards, but rather into small, manageable pieces that are easy to clean up.

Either water-based or oil-based wood interior paint can be used.
